My name is Roger Barr. I would like to introduce you to American Clay Products. I'm the president of the company, and I have been in the ceramic industry for 30 years. We began developing the American Clay Products line 27 years ago, starting with white earthenware casting slip and clear glaze. Over the years we have added many products, among them nine colors of earthenware slip, two colors of stoneware casting slip and a white porcelain casting slip. In addition we developed four different pug clay (plastic) bodies. As for the glaze line, development has brought 100 stock glaze colors, 35 under glazes and 25 color strokes. We have also developed specialty products like kiln wash, kiln cement, clay lube, wax resist, and cascade. Each product has been developed to the highest quality standards.
My 30 years of experience is available to our customers to lend a hand with their problems. I have been consulting in both hobby ceramics and the tile business for many years. It is my hope that our products and services in custom glaze, mold making and technical assistance will be of use to you and your company in your many ceramic endeavors.
